Right now you are one step closer to a new relationship with yourself and others. Are you looking for a therapist that has a mindfulness-based practice? Professionally and personally mindfulness is a big part of my life. Increasing awareness of what is happening in the moment is my "specialty". I look for opportunities to encourage self-awareness and self-compassion which is an effective way to change. I encourage relaxation practices as we begin a session to see how you want to use your precious time. Bringing an embodied presence to meet you where you are, I include awareness of the body/mind in our work together. I tend to sit with those looking to experience more peace and ease in their life, having the large "S" Self in charge more often as we treat and ease ADHD with depression and/or anxiety, physical pain, grief, relational issues and addictions.
As a contemplative therapist, I will support you in experiencing a life that you feel really good about.
I have been licensed as an LMHC since 2001 and in private practice since 2008. I continue to explore my own healing work. I have a daily meditation practice, yoga practice and am excited to be in training to teach mindfulness to children in the schools. I am also trained as a Svaroopa® yoga Embodyment Therapist and I teach svaroopa® yoga classes. This is the same space that you will be in for counseling which is very soothing/healing.
Feel free to call or email me for an individual, couples or family therapy consultation today.
